Sponsored Walk information

Dear parents,

Our annual sponsored walk takes place this Friday morning (24th May) around Castlewellan Lake (weather permitting).  Children can be dropped off directly to the entrance gates of the park at 8:45am.  Teachers and supervisors will be there to meet them.

We hope to make it a fun morning for the pupils.  Children should be lifted at the main car park at 12.00 noon.

Children should wear their own clothes and comfortable footwear.  Please apply sun cream and provide sun hats/caps for your child/children if the weather is good.

A treat will be provided by the Fresh Food Centre afterwards but pupils should bring their break (snack and a drink).  As pupils will have two snacks they will not need to get lunch until they get home.  Some pupils find it useful to bring a small plastic bag with them to sit whilst having their break in the field.  As pupils will be carrying their own snack bags please keep the bag and its contents light and easy to carry.

Pupils on free school meals will be provided with a lunch snack bag to bring home with them.

A sponsor sheet was sent home to each family.  All amounts raised for the school will be greatly appreciated.
