Tomorrow the Scholastic Book Fair arrives at St Mary’s. It currently has a 3 for 2 offer so you will pick up your cheapest book free. The book fair will be at the school for a full week so there is no rush in browsing the books that are available. Proceeds from the book fair will be used towards new reading books in the school. The school receives 40% commision which increases to 60% if more than £400 of books are sold.
Parents can come in to school with their children to browse the available books. As the book fair will only be arriving tomorrow it will not be on Thursday morning but available at pick up time at the end of the day. Our PTA will be staffing the book fair and I want to thank them for donating their time to oversee this event.
I also want to inform parents that we received an additional parental donation of £100, bringing our total raised this year to £4,706.50. Our first two interactive whiteboards have now been ordered and should be in the school before the end of this term. Thank you all for your generous support.
