Many thanks to Mrs Quinn, grandmother of Aidan in P7 and Aoife in P5 who came our school today to help us make Saint Brigid crosses. This tradition is 1500 years old this year (524 AD is when Saint Brigid died and the tradition began) A great afternoon's craic was had by all with 33 crosses in total made!
