Many pupils will have received mobile devices (tablets, phones, etc.) over the Christmas period and while a source of fun and learning they can also pose a risk to the safety of pupils. We will be looking at online safety with our pupils next month for safer internet day (6th February) but we would encourage parents to check their child's use of their mobile device and in particular messaging apps such as Snapchat. We have included a parental guide to mobile safety which will have useful suggestions on how to keep your child safe online.
