To assist Primary 7 parents in applying for a post Primary school,
Applications for your child's secondary school are made via the EA portal using the following link https://www.eani.org.uk/
There you apply using the EA connect service. Online applications will close at 4pm on Thursday 23 February 2023.
The information leaflet ‘Applying for a Year 8 Post Primary Place’ EA website contain information to assist you in making an online application.
Places are NOT allocated on a first come, first served basis. Post Primary Schools WILL NOT consider applications until after the closing date.
It is important that you:
- Find schools in your area. You can find local schools using https://www.eani.org.uk/search-schools
- Read the Admissions Criteria. These will be included when you search for the school online.
- Check what supporting documentation is required to be uploaded with your application. A photograph can be taken and uploaded via the EA Connect website.
- Parents are advised to list at least four preferences on your application.
- Check whether transport assistance will be available for your child.
