The children have enjoyed taking part in a variety of fun maths related games and investigations this week. Some of our favourites included 24 and What's the Question?
In 24 the children had to take the number part of a car licence plate and try to make 24 (or as close as possible!), using the 4 operations and every number only once. It's not as easy as it sounds! We were fascinated at how many actully worked.
What's the question involved the children working out what the question could be if they were only given the answer. Great competition between the groups with this while super practice of number skills and processes aswell!
