On Thursday night Father McKinley led Master Hardy’s retirement mass in Saint Mary’s chapel, Aughlisnafin. Paddy’s family, the governors, present and former members of staff attended. Afterwards in the school dining hall there were speeches from governors and members of staff. Paddy also have an emotional speech.
We are going to miss our former principal, who has dedicated 35 years to our school. We wish him a happy and fulfilled retirement and we hope to see many pictures of Paddy on his bike, climbing the Mournes or on the golf course. Enjoy your retirement Paddy!
