P2 & P3 have been very busy with their latest topic, with the change in time and the darker evenings we have been developing our understanding of Time while explore light and dark!
We have carried out fun science experiments about light, shadow’s, and keeping safe!
We have enjoyed our class novel the Owl who was afraid of the Dark By Jill Tomlinson and exploring how baby Plot over comes his fear of the dark and how we too can overcome our fears and worries!
The children’s researched on nocturnal animals and the presentations to the class were fantastic, including wonderful Reports, poster presentations and power-points. Their night time walk reports were super and the children discussed how they loved exploring the dark using all their senses.
They creating beautiful ‘Owl Art ‘ as part of their home/school projects. Well done and thank you parents for your ongoing support.
We are continuing with our theme into Christmas focusing on the Light of the world!
