Dear parents,
I am pleased to announce that the school’s funding application for sporting sessions has been successful and that we have secured the services of Bee Active NI for fitness coaching for all the pupils in St. Mary’s. There will be no charge for the Bee Active programme for pupils. This is a great opportunity to promote healthy living and exercise.
As a result this changes our P.E. timetable. As the school does not have an official P.E. uniform currently, the days that pupils can wear sports gear are Tuesday and Wednesday. Only those who are taking part in the Acti Sport club on Fridays may wear sports gear.
Monday – Full school uniform
Tuesday – P.E. for Reception/Primary 1 and Primary 2/3. Gaelic for P4 – 7 – P.E. Sports gear day.
Wednesday – Bee Active fitness for all classes – P.E. Sports gear day.
Thursday – Full school uniform
Friday – Only Acti Sport participants allowed to wear Sports gear, otherwise full school uniform.
