The eco council met this morning to vote for a new eco-code for the school. Isabella Jennings from Primary 4 has created this year's Eco-code which will be displayed in each class. Special mention to Leena Brennan from Primary 1 who was runner up with her submission.
Isabella's eco code:
We should not cut down the bushes or the trees Because that's home to the birds and the bees. Wasting water is not kind Because in some countries it's hard to find. Please don't litter, please use the bin. We love our wildlife and the planet will win.
Leena's eco code:
Pick up litter, keep it clean, Protect the earth, keep it green. We save water, we plant trees, We care for animals, birds and bees.
Recycle paper, plastic and more, Reuse what we can and don't ignore, Walk or cycle, skip the car, Help our planet shine like a star!
